Job summary

VTG is seeking an experienced RF Software Engineer to support the development of a Radio Frequency Processing System for a mission-focused customer. The role offers hybrid work with up to two days remote per week and the chance to work on high-throughput signal processing challenges.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of DSP algorithm development experience, strong C++, Python, and Linux skills, and an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance. A Bachelor's in engineering or CS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS or related with DSP focus.
• 4+ years RF software experience on DSP projects.
• 7+ years DSP algorithm development with C++, Python, Linux.
• Security clearance TS/SCI with Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and optimize DSP algorithms in software.
• Develop algorithms for high-throughput signal exploitation and processing.
• Translate DSP concepts into operational software implementations.
• Adapt and integrate COTS and GOTS products into RF systems.
• Troubleshoot software, firmware, DSP, and algorithm issues.
• Document algorithms and models clearly for team use.
• Collaborate with software, RF, and systems engineers throughout development lifecycle.
