Job summary

Banner Life Insurance Company is seeking a Retirement Services Associate in Stamford, CT, to support Pension Risk Transfer operations. You will handle calls, process admin tasks, and deliver excellent service while coordinating with internal teams.

The role is hybrid in Stamford with opportunities in a growing retirement division. Requires 2+ years in customer service, knowledge of pensions, and strong organizational skills. Competitive benefits and a 3% bonus target are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience, college preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a customer service/administrative related position
• Call Center / Customer Service experience preferred
• Understanding of pensions and annuities
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming service calls and emails with prompt, accurate customer service
• Process administration tasks and route inquiries to the appropriate department
• Maintain and update client records with confidentiality
• Support year-end tax form information and related requests
• Monitor mail and document handling and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Collaborate with teams to resolve issues and improve processes
