Job summary

NPAworldwide in New York City is looking for an Intermediate Architecture Design Professional to lead and execute concept-driven retail interiors projects within our Branded Environments division.

The role requires a balance of creative concept development and detailed technical execution, with proven experience in retail store planning, fixtures, millwork design and coordination with clients, consultants and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years in Retail Interiors/branded environments.
• Strong concept design and retail store planning experience.
• Proficient in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe CC.

Responsibilities

• Interface with client throughout the design phase.
• Assist design director in overseeing the design team.
• Develop preliminary retail programs and test-fits.
• Prepare scope and budget documentation for fixtures/millwork.
• Coordinate design requirements with client and project team.
• Attend design presentations and select furnishings.
• Coordinate retail fixturing and wall systems.
• Oversee custom millwork detailing and fabrication intent.
• Review engineering drawings for design intent.
• Visit project site during construction.
