Job summary

The University of Utah is seeking an Outreach and Communication Supervisor for Residency Admissions Processing. You will supervise a small team, coordinate in-office and remote staffing, and lead communications with students, families, and campus partners to ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Responsibilities include developing templates, coordinating with the Call Center and Enrollment Marketing teams, and participating in hiring and onboarding processes for residency staff.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a related field with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated organizational, human relations and effective communication skills.
• Possible licensure or registrations may be required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train student clerks and manage scheduling including in-office and remote days.
• Provide direct customer service and educate applicants, families, and campus partners.
• Develop email templates and Slate snippets for consistent messaging.
• Collaborate with Admissions Call Center and Marketing teams to ensure unified communications.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of residency staff.
• Address escalated cases and coordinate team projects to address issues.
