Job summary

West Virginia University is seeking a Hybrid Research Systems Analyst to support clinical research systems like OnCore, eReg, Analytics, and EDC. You will manage user access, conduct testing, and develop trainings while ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in clinical research, healthcare operations, information systems support, or related area.
• OnCore Certification within 1 year of hire, if required; CCRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and maintenance of clinical research systems.
• Support testing, validation, and implementation of system upgrades and enhancements.
• Manage user accounts, security access, and documentation.
• Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for staff and system users.
• Develop training materials and user documentation.
• Perform data entry, maintenance, and data quality reviews.
• Assist with study calendars, forms, templates, and system configuration.
• Generate routine reports and assist users with reporting needs.
• Communicate issues and requests to vendors, IT teams, and leadership.
• Maintain records in research applications and support SharePoint sites.
• Support onboarding for new employees and basic Microsoft Office issues.
