Job summary

Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability is seeking a DECO Research and Program Manager to advance a cross-disciplinary research program that bridges knowledge and action. The position reports to the Human and Planetary Health Managing Director and collaborates with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• PhD in disease ecology or a related field is required.
• Experience managing multi-partner research programs and coordinating complex projects.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; Spanish language ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary DECO research projects and coordinate collaborations.
• Design research approaches, experimental plans, and publishable manuscripts.
• Develop partnerships, manage budgets and grant applications.
• Provide scientific and program coordination support to DECO leadership.
• Supervise staff and students, organize meetings and knowledge systems.
