Job summary

Temple University’s Institutional Research & Assessment Department is seeking a Research Analyst II to conduct independent research and advanced data analysis, transforming data into actionable insights through statistical modeling and visualization.

Reporting to the AVP, you will collaborate with campus stakeholders to define analytical needs, support reporting for internal and external audiences, and monitor higher-education trends to inform planning and policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, educational research or related field.
• At least two (2) years of directly related experience in Institutional Research or in educational research.
• Experience designing user-centered dashboards and reports for diverse audiences.
• Experience using reporting and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
• Demonstrated experience with statistical software packages such as R, Python, SPSS, JMP, or SAS.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research and advanced data analysis to support planning.
• Develop and execute quantitative and qualitative research projects.
• Transform complex data into actionable insights through statistical modeling and data visualization.
• Partner with campus stakeholders to define analytical needs.
