Job summary

We Energies and Wisconsin Public Service, subsidiaries of WEC Energy Group, seek a Renewables Data Analytics intern for May/June 2027. Location options include Green Bay or Milwaukee with hybrid work flexibility.

Starting pay is $23.10/hour with holidays paid; full-time during summer 2027, potential part-time in fall. The Renewables Analytics team enables data-based decision making across a fleet of renewable projects, involving data preparation, analysis, visualization, and meetings as part of

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree with graduation date after June 2027.
• Minimum GPA 2.8.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Develop architecture & maintain databases of critical equipment meta data.
• Manage data flows and data pipelines feeding real-time predictive models.
• Collaborate with Renewables team to design and deploy analytics and KPI reporting at fleet level.
• Review performance and reliability of wind/solar/battery storage assets.
• ETL for transforming operational SCADA data into aggregated data repositories.
• Provide self-service access to raw and aggregated data to SMEs.
• Travel to generation sites in WI, MI, MN, IA, IL, or IN as needed.
