Job summary

Penn State Lady Lions are seeking a Career Services Specialist- Advanced Professional to design, deliver, and evaluate programs supporting College of Science undergraduates in research and experiential learning. You will work closely with students to identify opportunities, prepare strong applications, and navigate summer programs.

Responsibilities

• Encourage participation in undergraduate research experiences across the Eberly College of Science and the broader Penn State community
• Advise students on identifying research opportunities that align with their goals
• Guide students in securing research positions, including application materials and mentor outreach
• Assist students in exploring summer undergraduate research programs and national opportunities
• Support students as they plan for research experiences, presentations, and graduate study
• Evaluate the effectiveness of research engagement programs and advising services
