Acceler8 Talent is seeking a seasoned backend engineer to build Python-based data platforms and scalable APIs for a defense-informed wargaming and decision-support platform. You will connect simulation runtimes, AI workflows, and analytics interfaces to produce reproducible results for analysts and decision-makers.

You will design backend services, ingestion pipelines, and distributed execution across local and cloud environments, ensuring reliability, testing, and CI/CD quality.

Formación

• Professional production Python experience, with direct ownership of backend services, APIs or data systems.
• Experience designing scalable backend services and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with ML tooling and analytics integrations is a plus.
• Knowledge of distributed execution, data orchestration and reliability best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design backend services and APIs that schedule runs, collect outputs and deliver results to frontend/analysis tools.
• Build ingestion and normalization pipelines with clear data models for inputs, outputs and provenance.
• Develop distributed execution across local/workstations, on-prem and cloud while preserving reproducibility.
• Implement services for scenario generation, Monte Carlo execution and sensitivity analysis.
• Connect Python tooling to simulation runtimes and AI/ML pipelines via scalable interfaces.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into maintainable designs; own testing, CI, and releases.
