Job summary

Information Discovery Services LLC (IDS) seeks Personnel Security Assistants (PSA) to support security actions for a federal client. The role is hybrid remote, with days in the Farmer's Branch, TX office, and requires residency within 50 miles of that location.

Responsibilities include processing security forms, maintaining PSFs, and coordinating background investigations. Must have 1 year of relevant experience and meet U.S. citizenship/residency requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include 1 year of relevant experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and residence required for employment on this contract.
• Must reside within the United States or its territories for the past 3 of the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical, administrative, and professional services to support processing personnel security actions.
• Prepare personnel security files (PSFs) and upload documents to the authorized database.
• Receive processing requests and verify required documents for assignment to federal personnel.
• Create, assign, and distribute new cases to federal personnel.
• Generate case data tracking reports within IT systems to provide workflow accountability.
• Scan and upload documents and correspondence.
• Perform various database checks and record findings.
• Coordinate background investigation products from providers.
• Conduct fingerprinting and related checks.
• Carry out general personnel security, clerical, and administrative duties.
