Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking an Accounting Administrator for a hybrid/remote role in Fresno County, CA. The position offers a flexible 30-hour workweek with partial onsite work and remote options, and a salary of $45,000–$52,000 yearly.

You will maintain financial records, process payables and payroll, reconcile accounts, monitor grant budgets, and assist with month-end tasks while joining a mission-driven nonprofit with solid community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial administration is required.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliations is preferred.
• Experience tracking grants or supporting grant-funded programs is a plus.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial recordkeeping is essential.
• Nonprofit accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger activity.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial records.
• Monitor grant budgets and track expenditures to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Prepare financial information and supporting documentation for grant reporting.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
