The Addison Group is partnering with a large healthcare organization in Houston, TX to hire an Insurance Follow-Up & Denials Representative focused on physician billing. You will manage denials, appeals, and corrected CMS-1500 claims to maximize reimbursement.

Ideal candidates have recent CMS-1500 follow-up experience, strong denial management skills, and proficient use of Epic. Hybrid schedule includes 4 days remote and 1 day onsite after training.

Formación

• Recent CMS-1500/professional fee follow-up experience is required.
• Experience with denials management, appeals, rejections.
• Epic experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with commercial/government payers.
• Knowledge of credentialing, contracting and enrollment denials is a plus.
• Ability to review medical records for documentation supporting appeals.

Responsabilidades

• Manage approximately 45 physician insurance accounts per day.
• Research and resolve CMS-1500 denials, rejections, and denial codes.
• Submit and follow up on appeals and corrected claims.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex claims.
• Document all account activity accurately in Epic.
• Communicate with payers to resolve reimbursement discrepancies.
• Assist with credentialing and enrollment-related denials when needed.
