Job Details

We are hiring an RN with a master’s degree and 3-5 years of Hospice/Palliative Care experience with Supervisory or Leadership background to be our Hospice RN Team Manager.

The Team Manager supports the Hospice Clinical Director by providing leadership to the professional staff, ensuring services align with the organization’s philosophy, goals, and policies.

Scope of Responsibility:
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality and completeness of nursing documentation per policies and regulations.
  • Facilitate weekly IDT team meetings, reviewing patients as per Hospice Conditions of Participation.
  • Manage departmental operations within financial guidelines using the net patient revenue (NPR) of the MVI model including staff KPIs.
  • Implement and evaluate the Hospice Performance Improvement Plan based on NHPCO Family Satisfaction Survey results.
  • Participate in referral and community education to promote hospice awareness.
  • Manage performance of staff, providing coaching, training, and corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and resources, monitor productivity, and participate in budget planning.
  • Assist in hiring processes in collaboration with HR and management.
