Job summary

City of Lynchburg seeks an Application Development Analyst II to support enterprise and departmental applications. You will work with users to analyze needs, design processes, develop technical solutions, and maintain City applications and systems.

The ideal candidate has experience with application development and business systems support, including Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Basic, C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server; experience with integrations, data analysis, reporting, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; degree preferred.
At least two years of experience in business analysis and systems support for enterprise and departmental apps.
Experience with application development and data analysis is desirable.

Responsibilities

Design processes and solutions to address business needs.
Analyze procedures and participate in feasibility studies for information systems.
Design complex programming solutions to meet customer and organizational needs.
Develop and modify applications per design requirements and test code for quality.
Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of software packages and integrations.
Coordinate minor releases for internal and third-party software.
