AIR Control Concepts is seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist to manage certified and standard payrolls across multiple projects and jurisdictions in a hybrid/remote setting.

The role requires 5+ years in certified payroll, CPP certification, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Excel. You will collaborate with HR, accounting, and project teams to maintain meticulous records and support audits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of certified payroll experience required.
• Experience processing certified payroll, prevailing wage payroll, and standard multi-state payrolls.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Microsoft Excel.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred or required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly certified payrolls and standard payrolls for multiple project types.
• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports for federal, state, and local projects.
• Ensure compliance with Davis-Bacon Act, wage determinations, and contract requirements.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with HR, accounting, and project teams to resolve payroll issues.
