Job summary

Communications Engineering Company (CEC) seeks an experienced AV design engineer to consult with customers, design systems, and produce accurate quotes. You will document site assessments, create engineering CAD work, and develop project files to support implementation, with a focus on reliability and industry standards.

The role requires CTS/CTS-D certification or equivalent experience, strong presentation skills, and the ability to lead in hybrid / remote settings.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or 4 years related experience in communications.
• Four years' experience in a corporate environment in multiple functions.
• CTS or CTS-D certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Consulting: identify customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Site assessments to document device locations and system status.
• Presentations to demonstrate products to groups of customers.
• Design AV systems that fit client needs and communicate value.
• Provide accurate, detailed quotes for proposed solutions.
• Produce detailed project documentation for Operations.
