Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking an Associate Project Archaeologist to support our Midwest operations, with the Cincinnati, OH area as a principal hub. This hybrid role combines fieldwork, report writing, budgeting, and client/agency coordination to deliver CRM projects.

You will participate in planning, coordinating, and delivering cultural resource projects, while developing leadership and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Archaeology, Architectural History, Anthropology, or related field.
• 3 years of CRM experience across various project types and agencies.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet SWCA's driver requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads or assists projects with initiative, managing technical approach, project management, and QA/QC.
• Develops and manages deliverables for more complex projects under supervision.
• Develops innovative methods to meet client needs and maintains team collaboration.
• Communicates effectively with clients and agencies and builds professional relationships.
• Performs QA/QC reviews of field documents, site forms, and reports.
• Follows regulations and company standards; manages tasks to ensure project success.
