Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to join our hybrid team in Southern California (Aliso Viejo, Los Angeles County, Ontario, San Diego, or Santa Barbara).

The role focuses on retaining clients, supporting new business, and coordinating daily account management tasks, with a strong emphasis on service, renewals, and collaboration with carrier partners.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities; resolve complex issues.
• Renewals: manage expirations, prepare proposals, and negotiate coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
