Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an environmental professional to contribute to soil, groundwater, and surface water investigations in a hybrid work setting based in Raleigh. You will work with scientists, engineers, and project managers on varied environmental projects and coordinate fieldwork logistics, data analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities include client and regulatory meetings, subcontractor management, and maintaining safety and environmental compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Ability to obtain PE license
• Willingness to travel 50–75%
• Strong data analysis and report writing skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Design, perform, and oversee soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water investigations
• Coordinate fieldwork logistics and manage subcontractors
• Analyze and interpret data; prepare technical reports
• Participate in client and regulatory meetings
• Support safety, health, and environmental compliance standards
