Job summary

Nbkc Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker I in Leawood, KS to serve as the friendly, trusted face of the branch. You’ll help customers with everyday banking, offer financial guidance, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced community bank environment.

You’ll open new deposit accounts, explain products, and assist customers in person, by phone, or electronically while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• At least 1 year of banking experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support branch goals.
• Knowledge of retail banking products and compliance a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Open and process new deposit accounts and explain products and services.
• Actively sell, cross-sell, and refer products to meet branch goals.
• Identify customer needs by building relationships and engaging with the community.
• Deliver exceptional service in person, by phone, or electronically.
• Resolve customer service issues.
• Operate and balance a cash drawer; process deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
