Job summary

Corebridge Financial seeks a Manager, Reinsurance Accounting to lead a team responsible for timely and accurate reinsurance close processes for GAAP, US Statutory, and Bermuda Statutory reporting. You will review settlement calculations, drive standardization, and partner with CFOs and auditors to enhance controls and processes.

You will collaborate with investments, actuarial, policy, and external teams to ensure accurate disclosures and efficient close cycles, while supporting new reinsurance

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the insurance industry with complex reinsurance treaties.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience implementing process improvements and automation.
• Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions.
• Proficiency with financial systems (SAP, BPC) and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and quarterly reinsurance accounting closes.
• Review cession calculations and settlements.
• Coordinate disclosures and regulatory submissions.
• Explain monthly/quarterly reinsurance results to stakeholders.
• Support new reinsurance deals and related transactions.
• Maintain controls and coordinate internal/external audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements and standardization.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests.
