Job summary

ERCOT is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join the Regulatory team. The role involves providing legal support on regulatory matters, ensuring compliance, and advocating on ERCOT’s behalf in state and federal proceedings.

The ideal candidate will have substantial regulatory experience, strong writing and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires strong regulatory experience and analytical skills.
• Solid written and oral communication abilities.
• Experience with administrative or regulatory procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on regulatory matters and advocate for ERCOT in proceedings.
• Review NPRRs, Revision Requests, and impact analyses for regulatory filings.
• Represent ERCOT in regulatory proceedings before PUCT and other forums as needed.
• Monitor legislative matters and participate in writing and publication of reports and filings.
