Job summary

SECU is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join the Risk Management team in a hybrid in-office/remote capacity. The role supports compliance with laws and regulations by performing testing, monitoring, risk assessments, training support, and metrics reporting.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree (or equivalent experience), strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with financial regulations is preferred.

• Experience working in a highly regulated industry (financial institutions preferred).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• 40% Testing and Monitoring: assist with proactive review testing of first-line functions to ensure compliance and identify gaps; review monitoring efforts and escalate issues.
• 20% Risk Assessment: assist with annual update of the Compliance Risk Assessment considering inherent risk and mitigating controls.
• 20% Training: review compliance training material, coordinate recordkeeping, stay current on regulatory changes.
• 20% Metric Reporting: document and analyze key performance indicators and track items from issues management lifecycle.
