Job summary

Boston University Wheelock College of Education & Human Development seeks a Manager of Student Records & Registrar to lead high-volume records operations, ensure record integrity, degree progress, and graduation eligibility. The role reports to the Assistant Dean of Enrollment & Student Success and collaborates with student services, graduate admissions, and central offices.

This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule (up to two remote days per week) and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Three years of progressive experience in student records, registrar operations, enrollment services, or related area in higher education.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail in data entry, review, and processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication across teams and departments.
• Experience with SIS/database platforms and FERPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of BU Wheelock’s student records function and respond to inquiries.
• Direct processing of academic actions: grades, incompletes, transfers, add/drop, leaves, withdrawals, verifications.
• Monitor workflow volume, delegate work, maintain guidance documents and timelines.
