Job summary

RailWorks Corporation seeks a Regional Controller – East to oversee the regional finance function and ensure GAAP-compliant accounting, reporting, and controls. Manage the regional team, coordinate with corporate accounting, and guide financial analyses for projects from bidding through completion.

The role requires extensive experience in construction finance, staff leadership, and cross-border knowledge within North America. Hybrid schedule in Houston or Deer Park, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years senior-level finance or accounting experience.
• Cross-border experience within North America preferred.
• Knowledge of finance, budgeting, cost control principles, and GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Acts as subject matter expert for site accounting and related issues.
• Prepares and oversees monthly, quarterly, annual accounting and financial statements and forecasts.
• Ensures integrity of financial records with strong internal controls in line with company policies and GAAP.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
