Job summary

POOLCORP, the world's leading distributor of outdoor living products, seeks an Accounts Receivable Manager to supervise collections across multiple sales centers in the region. The role supports a hybrid arrangement with Ohio and West Virginia, and on-site options at the Covington, LA corporate office.

You will analyze aging reports, manage follow-ups, negotiate payment schedules, and coordinate with the Division Credit Manager to optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Business and two years' experience in A/R and Credit & Collections.
• Knowledge of collection laws and cash reconciliation.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong math, communication, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to travel to several sales centers within the region.

Responsibilities

• Analyze aging reports to determine collection steps.
• Review and analyze accounts to determine follow-up actions.
• Report weekly with Division Credit Manager and communicate status to Sales Center, Regional and General Manager.
• Prepare daily A/R payments and record to CAC following Pool Corp guidelines.
• Ensure follow-up calls on accounts with payment commitments and negotiations as needed.
• Coordinate with Division Credit Manager to determine best collection approaches.
• Complete all necessary paperwork for lien releases, stop notices, bond claims, mechanic liens, etc.
