Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Manager, Institutional/Provider Rebates to oversee payment requirements for hospital, GPO, IDN, and clinic contracts, ensuring timely, accurate remittance to US Institutional customers. You will analyze variances, support SOX controls, and drive cross-functional initiatives with leadership and internal partners.

You will advise on rebate strategies, collaborate on contract setup, and optimize data management and reporting using FLEX, Business Objects, and Cognos.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or higher degrees with corresponding experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical contracting/rebating is a plus.
• Ability to interpret policy, objectives, and marketplace dynamics.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and large data handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead rebate administration with contract terms and price components in FLEX system.
• Process payments accurately within contract timelines and validate data.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms to reduce risk and protect Pfizer’s assets.
• Provide account performance analysis and quarterly rebate data for accruals.
• Collaborate with contracting, development, and GBS teams to implement contract strategies.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and respond to ad-hoc data requests.
• Lead system improvements and training to broaden market understanding.
