Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is partnering with a Seattle law firm to recruit a Real Estate Paralegal for a busy transactional practice.

The role centers on commercial real estate financing, title work, and closing support, with a hybrid schedule (4 days remote / 1 day in-office) in Seattle. You will review title materials, coordinate closings, and draft financing documents to ensure accurate, timely closings.

Qualifications

• Prior paralegal experience supporting commercial real estate financing
• Strong experience reviewing title commitments and final title policies
• Familiarity with title clearance, escrow, recording, and post-closing
• Experience preparing and managing commercial loan documents and UCC filings
• Ability to identify title or due diligence issues and coordinate resolution
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and PDF editing software
• Experience with document management systems preferred
• Excellent project management, communication, and time management
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions
• Comfortable with deadline-driven environment and overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze title commitments, reports, and policies for CRE financing
• Identify title issues and coordinate with parties to satisfy requirements
• Review surveys and legal descriptions for consistency with documents
• Prepare and manage title and escrow letters and related correspondence
• Coordinate with title/escrow companies on execution, recording, funding, and title policies
• Draft, revise, and maintain loan and financing documents
• Conduct due diligence searches related to financing matters
• Prepare and file UCC financing statements and amendments
• Coordinate closings, maintain checklists, and collect documents
• Track deadlines throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Prepare closing binders and distribute post-closing materials
• Support attorneys with additional real estate financing projects
