Job summary

A highly regarded law firm in Nashville seeks a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to handle sophisticated transactional work with emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.

You will work directly with experienced attorneys on significant transactions, manage due diligence, draft and negotiate agreements, and advise clients throughout the deal lifecycle, with a hybrid schedule (minimum 3 days in office).

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-5 years of sophisticated commercial real estate experience.
• Strong acquisitions, dispositions, and commercial leasing background.
• Meaningful experience drafting and negotiating transactional documents.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to take ownership of substantive portions of transactions.
• Tennessee Bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Ability to work from the Nashville area.

Responsibilities

• Handle commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions.
• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases.
• Manage due diligence and transaction closings.
• Assist with development and other property-related agreements.
• Advise clients throughout the lifecycle of commercial real estate transactions.
• Work directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other transaction participants.
