Job summary

Responsibilities include provider enrollment, CMS fee schedule maintenance, claim submission, third-party follow-up, cash posting, denial management, and patient collections. Strong teamwork and proactive communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in hospital or physician billing strongly preferred.
• Requires working knowledge of payer billing requirements and regulations.
• Requires a high level of interpersonal, problem solving, and analytic skills.
• Requires effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Requires the ability to work within a team and maintain collaborative relationships.

Responsibilities

• Resolve accounts receivable for IU Health entities in Revenue Cycle System Services.
• Handle provider enrollment and CMS fee schedule maintenance.
• Submit claims and perform third-party follow-up.
• Post cash and manage denial appeal and recovery.
• Engage in audit defense, recovery, and patient collections.
