Job summary

Fanatics Betting and Gaming seeks a Quantitative Analyst to develop and test pricing and risk models for sports betting. You will source data, build predictive models, and automate analyses using Python and C#. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Outstanding mathematical, statistical and analytical skills.
• Excellent work ethic and good team skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to high-quality work and best practices in quantitative analysis and research.
• Strong understanding of advanced machine learning techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, R, or C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, training and testing of mathematical models for pricing and risk management of sport betting events.
• Data sourcing and analysis: collect and clean sports-related data; analyze large datasets to identify patterns and inform trading strategies.
• Programming: use Python/C# to develop quantitative models, automate analyses, and perform data tasks.
• Collaborate with senior quants, traders and product managers to understand requirements and communicate findings.
• Document and maintain clear documentation of models, methodologies and analyses.
• Stay abreast of developments in quantitative analysis and betting markets through self-study and training.
