Job summary

Tarkett Sports is seeking a hardworking Quality Technician for a Shift/ Day Shift in our Georgia facility. You will inspect turf during coating, tufting, and graphics stages; measure dimensions and materials; and ensure product quality through data recording and sampling for lab testing.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, weight checks, and collaboration with production teams. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math and measurement skills needed.
• Ability to read and interpret production orders.
• Good communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect turf during coating process and record data.
• Measure roll width, pile height, tuft binds, and record data.
• Place quality holds on defective rolls.
• Prepare samples for lab testing and third-party testing.
• Perform routine inspections during tufting and graphics sections.
• Log and communicate findings to supervisors and quality team.
• Follow safety policies and maintain clean work area.
