Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Quality Automation Engineer to join the PC/Flex team. The role focuses on developing test automation code in a fast-paced environment and contributing to scalable, reliable testing efforts.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Customer Support, and Platform engineering, mentor new hires, and help ensure robust automation coverage across the SDLC. A strong foundation in Python, Playwright, Linux, and CI/CD is essential.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Science or Engineering from a recognized university.
• Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of automation test framework development experience.
• Strong coding skills in Python and Playwright.
• Experience with SDLC and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD and regression testing.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in Pytest and automated test design.

Responsibilities

• Understand and contribute to functional and design specifications.
• Automate long-running, scalable, reliable, and security-focused test cases and report results.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Customer Support, and Platform engineering.
• Mentor new team members and provide guidance on automation practices.
