Abramson Labor Group seeks a QME Deposition Clerk for its workers' compensation litigation team in Burbank, CA. The role manages the full lifecycle of QME depositions, from pre-deposition review to post-deposition follow-up.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of independent work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 1+ years in related fields is preferred, with strong proficiency in case management and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in workers' compensation litigation, QME/AME processes, or civil litigation support preferred.
• Working knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures, QME processes, and deposition practice or willingness to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Review case files ahead of each QME deposition to assess status and issues.
• Evaluate opportunities for resolution prior to deposition and flag viable cases.
• Coordinate scheduling with court reporters, interpreters, and counsel for all depositions.
• Prepare deposition packets with reports, records, exhibits, and discovery.
• Attend depositions in person or remotely and take detailed notes.
