Job summary

Basys, a payments technology company, invites you to join its Product Team as an entry-level QA Engineer. You will create and maintain tests for features, perform manual testing, and help shape testing strategy in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have an associates or bachelor’s in CS (plus), experience testing REST APIs with Postman, and familiarity with Jira and Azure DevOps. You’ll work in a hybrid schedule, contribute to Agile ceremonies, and grow toward QA

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor's in Computer Science is a plus.
Experience testing REST API calls using Postman and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
Strong communication skills and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Jira and Azure DevOps.
Understanding of SDLC and QA processes; knowledge of Bankcard industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain tests for new and existing features.
Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
Track defects and help troubleshoot errors for UI and API users.
Collaborate with Product Owner, product team, and vendors to ensure bugs are fixed.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to testing perspectives.
