Job summary

Bentley Systems in Exton/Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Software Quality Analyst I to ensure quality and reliability of Bentley software products. You will develop test plans, test cases, and scripts, perform regression testing, and document quality records across pre-release and released states.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with testing experience or equivalent, familiarity with Bentley tools, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field with 2–3 years of experience in road design using Bentley and/or other software tools OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in testing of road design softwares.
• Familiarity with Bentley software such as MicroStation, ProjectWise, OpenRail, OpenBridge, and Open Tunnel is a plus.
• Understanding software testing and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on product specifications and design documents.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and maintain test plans and scripts.
• Log, track, and manage software defects through the bug lifecycle.
• Validate customer-reported issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure quality standards.
• Support internal teams with product insights when needed.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on Bentley’s Civil product suite.
• Recommend improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.
