Job summary

Flat River Group LLC in Kentwood, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Support Specialist to manage product data, copy, imagery, and PO administration. This hybrid role supports the Purchasing department and cross-functional teams in maintaining accurate information for sales channels.

The ideal candidate will balance multiple priorities, possess strong communication skills, and be comfortable collaborating across teams to ensure smooth purchasing operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a dynamic office or business environment.
• Associates degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• Copywriting experience for e-commerce platforms (preferred).
• Experience editing images with Photoshop (preferred).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop brand-aligned product copy using traditional techniques and AI-assisted content creation.
• Manage and maintain visual assets for product setup and content updates.
• Coordinate and maintain product setup information across sales channels; review docs, imagery, and system data.
• Input and maintain accurate product information within internal systems (lifecycle status, costing, hierarchy).
• Prepare, format, and distribute key reports to support internal teams and partners.
• Support purchasing through accurate purchase order entry and PO data maintenance.
• Provide administrative support to Purchasing and contribute to special projects.
