Kutak Rock LLP seeks an experienced public finance paralegal in Omaha, NE to support attorneys with bond and loan transaction documents and closing processes. The role involves coordinating with clients, attorneys, and regulators, and managing closing activity across multiple financings.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in MS Word and Excel, and has 2+ years of relevant experience. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with firm benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.
• 2 years+ of experience in paralegal or related role preferred.
• Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare first drafts of basic documents including resolutions, trust indentures, loan documents, closing documents and opinions.
• Coordinate distribution of documents to clients and others.
• Interact with firm attorneys, clients, and opposing counsel.
• Coordinate filings with regulators and administrative offices.
• Develop and maintain databases of related financings.
• Coordinate closings and ensure completion of all closing documents.
