Job summary

Rivetus Rehabilitation seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver SNF and outpatient therapy in a hybrid role in Sterling Heights, MI. You will perform 1-on-1 outpatient sessions and SNF therapy, collaborating with a team to meet diverse patient needs and treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensure as required by the State of Michigan.
• Ability to lift and move patients weighing 80–300+ pounds with equipment as needed.
• Ability to deliver 1-on-1 and group therapy as clinically appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT treatment under supervision of a PT according to treatment plans.
• Document and progress patient care per continuity of care and reimbursement requirements.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to support total patient care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
• Maintain clinical expertise through continuing education.
