Job summary

US Rehabilitation & Health Services Inc. is seeking an Assistant Physical Therapist to join our Sterling Heights, MI team on a full- or part-time basis.

The role involves working with a clinical care team, following treatment plans, documenting progress, and educating patients on exercises. Eligible candidates hold a Michigan PTA license, can travel between Dearborn, Port Huron, and Sterling Heights, and demonstrate strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Michigan PTA license.
• Ability to work 9:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients of all ages.
• Ability to travel between Dearborn, Port Huron, and Sterling Heights.
• Outpatient orthopedic clinic experience and bilingual English/Arabic are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with a clinical care team and follow directions from a licensed physical therapist.
• Follow an established treatment plan to guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional training.
• Document patients' progress and inform the supervising physical therapist of findings.
• Educate patients on at-home exercises and recovery strategies.
• Maintain a collaborative, professional, and high level of care.
