Job summary

Merakey is seeking a psychiatrist to lead psychiatric assessments and treatments within our Long Term Structured Residence programs in Russellton and Beaver Falls, PA. This hybrid, part-time role blends telehealth with monthly on-site visits.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, medication management, crisis response, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and community integration.

Qualifications

• PA license active and unrestricted.
• Board certification in psychiatry or board-eligible.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments.
• Develop, review, and approve individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications; assess treatment effectiveness.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric care and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, case management, and direct care staff.
• Respond to crises and determine need for higher levels of care.
• Ensure services meet Pennsylvania standards and recovery goals.
• Support resident transition to community-based settings.
