Springfield Behavioral of Pennsylvania, part of the Optum family, seeks a Psychiatrist to join our West Chester, PA team. You'll diagnose and treat a range of mental health conditions, collaborate with clinicians, and support PMHNP colleagues as needed. Initial on-site schedule with potential hybrid care delivery.

The role emphasizes documentation, adherence to guidelines, and patient-centered outcomes, with a focus on building a stable caseload and professional development within Optum.

Qualifications

• Active, clear and unrestricted Physician license (MD/DO) in Pennsylvania
• Board certified in psychiatry by ABPN
• Active DEA registration
• 3+ years of outpatient behavioral health experience

Responsabilités

• Diagnose mental health conditions using evidence-based tools and formulate treatment plans
• Collaborate with clinicians to provide supportive patient care
• Communicate with referral sources to coordinate patient care
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications per guidelines
• Maintain accurate EMRs and comply with regulatory requirements
• Support PMHNP colleagues as a collaborating physician
