Job summary

Geode Health in Athens, GA, is expanding its team of Advance Practice Providers. You will partner with psychiatrists and therapists to deliver evidence-based mental health care, ranging from initial evaluations to ongoing medication management and psychotherapy.

The role supports a hybrid schedule with onsite and telehealth days, aiming for work-life balance, professional development, and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Active Psychiatric PA or PMHNP license in the state of posting.
• Active DEA license.
• Active CDS (Illinois Providers only).
• Passion for high quality care.
• Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using an EMR system and keeping precise health records.
• The desire and ability to see a general spectrum of mental health conditions.
• Geode highly prefers APPs with 1+ year of AP provider experience, especially in outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric healthcare services including initial evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Medication management and supportive psychotherapy as clinically appropriate.
• Partner with psychiatrists and mental health therapists to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and up-to-date health records in the EMR.
• Contribute to integrated care team efforts to improve patient outcomes.
