Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead high-value proposals for engineering and environmental services. You will translate complex concepts into client-focused narratives and manage strategy, content, and schedules across multiple pursuits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in AEC proposal development or related field.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills with diverse teams.
• Excellent writing and editing abilities for client-focused content.
• Experience developing win themes and differentiators for proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple pursuits and deadlines with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex pursuits from capture planning through submission and post-submittal evaluation.
• Develop tailored strategies, win themes, and messaging for clients.
• Facilitate kickoff and strategy sessions to align teams on differentiators.
• Define client challenges and proposed solutions with risk and value.
• Translate technical information into concise client narratives and content.
• Guide teams to produce credible, high-quality content and timelines.
• Coordinate schedules, reviews, and submission requirements while maintaining strategy.
• Support interview planning and post-submittal lesson-learned activities.
