Qualifications

• 10+ years of Property underwriting experience, including complex corporate property placements.
• Deep technical expertise in General Property underwriting: risk assessment, pricing, coverage, portfolio management.
• Proven leadership and people management experience in a team environment.
• Strong regional broker and client relationships in the Southeast US to drive growth.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; CPCU/AU considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a team of Property Underwriters across the Southeast.
• Manage and underwrite a portfolio of large corporate property accounts.
• Coach and mentor underwriters; provide development opportunities.
• Recruit and retain top underwriting talent; foster inclusive team culture.
• Drive business development with regional brokers and clients.
• Collaborate with actuarial, claims, risk engineering for holistic underwriting.
• Ensure adherence to underwriting policies and authorities.
• Monitor portfolio performance; analyze trends and adjust actions.
• Represent Swiss Re at industry events and client engagements.
• Contribute to regional strategy and growth initiatives.
