Job summary

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions invites an experienced Senior Underwriter to join the Plano, TX team. You will own property underwriting for large enterprise accounts, analyze Nat Cat and man-made exposures, and structure terms with brokers and clients to align with underwriting strategy.

The role is hybrid with travel within the Central US region. Candidates should have 4–10+ years of underwriting experience, strong negotiation skills, and a proven network in the property market.

Qualifications

• 4–10+ years of underwriting experience with medium to large corporate accounts.
• Experience structuring and fronting global programs (preferred).
• Knowledge of Nat Cat, man-made risk and insured exposures in property underwriting.
• Strong broker and client networks in the Central US region.
• Ability to manage multiple deals in parallel and negotiate terms.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolios including fronted global property programs.
• Underwrite exposures including Natural Catastrophe hazards.
• Prepare quotations and proposals within guidelines.
• Represent Swiss Re in client and broker meetings.
• Lead internal or external projects and coach junior underwriters.
• Build and maintain broker and client relationships.
