Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a Manager Property Insurance to lead the property insurance program, renewals, coverage coordination, and risk management support across the organization.

The successful candidate will work with Risk Management, Real Estate, Operations, Legal, Finance, brokers, and carriers to ensure accurate exposure data, timely renewals, and effective risk controls for a multi-site portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in risk management or related field.
• 5+ years of property insurance, risk management, or insurance program management experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial property insurance concepts, policy structures, and claims processes.
• Experience coordinating with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders; proficient with data and reporting tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day property insurance program management, renewals, and coverage coordination.
• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and internal teams for renewals, submissions, and loss data.
• Maintain locations, values, coverage details, deductibles, and endorsements.
• Review policies, binders, endorsements, certificates for accuracy and alignment with requirements.
• Coordinate claims activity, including intake, follow-up, and reporting.
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders for risk information and renewals.
• Prepare executive-ready summaries and reports on renewals and program performance.
