Job summary

WinnCompanies is seeking a Property Accountant I for the Lowell, MA region. The role supports external and internal customers as the primary accounting liaison for an assigned portfolio, handling month-end and year-end tasks with US GAAP alignment.

The position offers a hybrid schedule: Mon–Fri 9:00–5:00 with remote work on Mon and Fri after 90 days, and a salary range of $61,000–$70,000 annually plus a $2,500 annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree preferred; Associate's required.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in property management or similar.
• Experience with general ledgers, budget variances, and US GAAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly accounting tasks including bank and escrow reconciliations.
• Ensure timely payment of mortgages, management fees, escrow funding, and real estate taxes.
• Analyze month-end accruals and reconcile prepaid expenses; support audits and budget preparation.
