Job summary

Mansfield Energy is seeking a Business Projects Specialist to lead and execute strategic projects from initiation to completion at the Houston office. This exempt, salaried role collaborates with IT, finance, sales and operations to deliver solutions on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate will map as-is and to-be processes, define requirements with stakeholders, and manage detailed project plans and KPIs. Hybrid work and onsite presence in Houston are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 1+ year of project management experience, preferably in energy or software deployments.
• Experience with software system deployments and integrations.
• Knowledge of natural gas retail/wholesale industry is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills for data cleanup and transformation.
• Familiarity with Python and relational databases encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, and delivery to meet objectives and deadlines.
• Define scope, timelines, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with IT, finance, sales, and operations to align on goals.
• Create and maintain project reports with KPI insights.
• Support data consolidation and data quality for project work.
• Support testing and post-implementation reviews.
